DescriptionOutlineEach student will use class readings to locate two sources of academic scholarship analyzing two social justice movements discussed in class and write a three page essay in which they will compare/contrast policies, interventions and/or modes of advocacy that will enact positive change especially as they relate to race, class, gender, age, sexual preference, religion and nationality. Both sources must be written (books/ academic journals), but you may include media sources as part of your analysis if you choose. All writing is expected to be in the form of highly polished academic prose. Part of the challenge of all writing assignments will include learning to be selective about what you write, as well as learning to convey your ideas/findings to your audience (in this case your professor), in an interesting, elucidating manner. Format: There is not a page requirement or limit, but typical papers are approximately 3 pages, double-spaced, 12-pt font, with additional, separate title page and reference page. Please include page numbers. Due Date: . PLEASE SEE FILES FOR SPECIFIC READINGS!!
