DescriptionYour term paper will be on a modern social theorist(George Homans). Your term paper will involve 5 sections. Section one will be a brief biography of the individual. Section two will discuss the social and historical context of the theorist and how it influenced his/her work. Section three will focus on the intellectual context and roots of the individuals work. In particular, who influenced the development of the individuals sociological perspective. In Section 4, you will summarize the major works and contributions of the individual to the development of sociological thought. This should be the largest section of your paper. Section 5 will summarize how this theorist has or will influence sociological thought.Your paper will include and cite at least 5 sources within the body of your paper, which should be a minimum of 7-10 pages in length. Your sources must be scholarly/professional and not include Wikipedia, encyclopedia or non-academic/professional web-sites. Also, make sure that you have at least one (1) original source from the theorist being investigated. Also include a title page and bibliography (3 additional pages), making the total required page length 10+ pages. Use the mechanics of good writing (spelling, grammar, headings, etc.) and ASA format (12 point Times New Roman or Arial font, single- spaced, 1-inch margins on all sides, indenting five spaces for each new paragraph and double space between paragraphs).
