DescriptionThe intent of Research Project #3 is to engage in mixed methods (qualitative and quantitative) data analysis. For your final research project, you will revisit the interviews that our class conducted for Research Project #2. By examining all interviews(SEE ATTACHED INTERVIEWS) you will look for commonalities and you will discuss significant findings.1.Step One: (ATTACHED 19) Download every students interview assignment. These are available in the Discussion Board under Research Project #2: Data Collection for Interview.2.Step Two: Familiarize yourself with the documents. Casually read through each piece of data. Start to think about patterns and similarities. Remember the guiding research question for the interview was, What do people think about romantic relationships?3.Step Three: Select two independent variables to analyze. Decide which independent variables you want to target in your analysis; IVs could be gender (man/woman/trans), age (teen/young adult/older adult), religiosity (high/low), etc4.Step Four: The overarching DV is “romantic relationships.” Select two dimensions of this DV to focus on; DV dimensions could include relationship hopes, experiences, fears, expectations, definitions, etc….Step Four: Code the data: Go through each document and highlight text where the IVs are discussed. Go through each document and highlight text where the DVs are discussed. 5.Step Five: As you code, create memos and a concept map. Note the patterns that seem to be arising. 6.Step Six: Look at your data analysis and write out your conclusions to your research question.7.Step Seven: Turn in the following in a three-page report:Introduce research question and hypotheses (each IV attached to each DV – there should be 4 in total)Identify sample size.Identify 2 IVs and 2 DV.Discuss relationship between IV1 and DV1. Discuss frequencyGive 3 examples from data; use quotes. Discuss significance of each example.Discuss relationship between IV1 and DV2. Discuss frequencyGive 3 examples from data; use quotes.
