Identify a case study that fits one of these models (or choose one of the case studies provided by the instructor). If you identify your own case study, you must have it approved by the instructor. After reading and reflecting on the case study, answer the following questions. Each prompt should be a new section of your paper with a header to indicate a new section. Be sure to draw on course materials, readings, and resources throughout your paper. Issue and causeBriefly describe the community and the issue they are facing. If applicable, describe ways in which consciousness raising and/or nonviolence was used. If applicable, describe how the effort sought to involve those who were considered hard to reach. If none of these models or methods were used, suggest one way that the effort could have incorporated participatory engagement.Messaging and communicationsDescribe how the effort messaged their efforts to the broader community. Discuss ways in which that messaging increased participation, garnered new allies, challenged dominant narratives. Provide your assessment of their messaging and offer suggestions for improvement.Evaluating their successHow do you rate their overall success in both achieving their goals and commitment to their process? If applicable, how did the community members assess their progress? What methods did they use? If theres no evidence of self-evaluation, what participatory evaluation method would you suggest. Why? Your written paper submission should include a title page, narrative that answers the prompts and questions above, and references to the assigned or supplemental readings that are cited. It should be 8-10 pages (title page and references not included in page length), double spaced, using APA style.
