DescriptionChannel management and logistics activities usually have a long-term impact on company strategy, including on what channel or intermediaries a company uses. Your company faces the same challenges when moving your company’s carbon fiber bicycle to the end user.Working with your group download , you will develop a presentation (your group can use any presentation software for this exercise) that explores the following: Identify the marketing channel you plan to use in the simulation and describe your rationale for choosing that channel. (Review the marketing channels for consumer products section in your textbook, p. 328) Be sure to address the following questions: Does the channel fit the target customer? Does the channel fit the brand positioning? Is the channel a good fit for your organization? Can you achieve your economic goals through this channel (make a profit)? Describe your channel design decisions and your rationale for market exposure. Finally, describe the logistics behind your supply chain management strategy. Logistics involves those activities that focus on getting the right amount of the right product(s) to the right place at the right time at the lowest possible prices. The performance of these activities is logistics management, the practice of organizing the flow of raw materials, in-process inventory, finished goods, and related information from point of origin to point of consumption to satisfy customer requirements (p. 338). You should diagram this process.
