DescriptionThe aim of this project is to examine the impact of enforced self-isolation and loneliness on the eating & food purchasing behaviour within the black, Asian and minority ethnic group university students, and investigating the possible links of food insecurity issues due to Covid-19.It was hypothesized that the eating and purchasing behaviours of the students experienced a significant change compared to before COVID-19 due to the students being in enforced isolation during the lockdowns and other emotional contributors to their behaviours. It was also hypothesized that students in enforced self-isolation may not have reliable access to a sufficient quantity of affordable, nutritious food. This is a cross-sectional study using online questionnaires and the sample group is black, Asian and minority ethnic group university students or recent graduates.explore and critically analyse the results in light of the original hypothesis or research question, if appropriate. Comparisons should be made with key literature outlined from the literature review. Consider how your findings compare with previous studies and offer any explanations of any difference that present themselves.
